FM12xx is designed to complement general-purpose smart card controllers in Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Co., Ltd’s ‘Security & Identification’ products for Identification Cards, Transportation Cards, or E-payment applications, etc.. The FM12xx family support Triple-DES symmetric cryptography, ISO/IEC 7816 contact interface and ISO/IEC 14443-A contactless interface, which are widely used in the world. The learning curve for implementers is quick, as the product is based on well-known standards. By using FM12xx, applications can easily developed and validated within days. Applications compliant to PBOC2.0 are pre-installed, this allow FM12xx can be used for E-payment Cards, ID Cards, or Transportation Cards.
